Staff and children have been enthusiastically taking part in our growing Forest School Journey and it has already become an exciting part of our week. We are proud to share that 3 staff are currently working towards their level 3 accreditation,deepening their skills, knowledge, and capacity to deliver high‑quality outdoor learning experiences.
Over recent weeks, we have been facilitating Forest School sessions within the Primary School grounds. We have also been incredibly fortunate to welcome Pam Henderson from NIFSA on several occasions. Pam brought her wealth of expertise to our nursery, modelling a range of high‑quality Forest School practices and engaging our children in inspiring hands‑on activities.
We were genuinely amazed by the sessions offered and delighted by how confidently and creatively our children engaged with the natural environment. The depth of learning, exploration, curiosity, and problem‑solving we observed was outstanding.
We are incredibly excited to continue this journey and look forward to fully embedding the Forest School Programme as a natural, integral part of our curriculum.
