Children who are not listed as eligible for Free School Meals by the Education Authority will need to pay £2.50 per day for a hot school dinner.
Our nursery uses a cashless system called ParentPay. Parents can log in to ParentPay to pay snack for their child each week. Payment for school dinners is also made easily through this system.
Our Nursery children are absolutely loving staying for dinner at school. We are very lucky to have our dinner routine organised into smaller groups, which gives the children special time to sit together, chat, and enjoy their meals in a calm and relaxed environment. This allows for lovely discussion while encouraging good manners, saying please and thank you, using cutlery properly, and being brave enough to try new foods. Mealtimes also help children to develop independence, make choices, and enjoy social time with their friends.
