We are so lucky this term to be involved in "Forest Schools".
Forest School is based on a Scandinavian idea that considers children's contact with nature to be extremely important from an early age. This is an inspirational process, that offers ALL of our learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees. We are using a perfect forest area on in the primary school grounds.
We are also extremely privileged to be working with Brian Poots the Director of Northern Ireland Forest School Association!
